Traditionally, our adult members’ first participation with Stratford Cycling Club has been on our Sunday rides with beautiful scenery, good company and a very civilised spirit of fellowship. You don't need to be a member in the first instance, we welcome new riders and hope you will join the club in good time. The Sunday rides meet at Box Brownie on Henley St at 9.00am and split into groups, the fastest group do approx. 65 miles, the others will ride 55 and 45 miles. Membership will entitle you to free entry of club time trials, subsidised club kit, and store discounts with The Bicycle Rooms on Western Rd.
The junior members meet on Monday evenings during term time for safe, coached sessions with the aim of developing their riding skills. The sessions are at the Home Guard Club, Tiddington on an off road track which is lit during winter months. If you wish to attend these sessions please email Kirsty at email@example.com
Stratford Cycling Club is not just about competitive cycling, the clubs mission is to help and promote all cycling. As a club we organise endurance rides, training rides and races. Outside of club activities many of our members have ridden spotives, or ridden on epic travels abroad and at home. We hope that whatever they achieve, they will have gained friends, knowledge and support from SCC.
This level of membership entitles you to join our club activities including training rides, Sunday rides and free entry to our club time trials.

Stratford CC are fortunate to have use of an excellent traffic-free facility at The Home Guard Club, Tiddington. As well as a hard-standing 400m floodlit oval track where we teach group riding and track racing skills, we also have an excellent off road cyclo-cross and mtb circuit. Our coaches are qualified and insured by British Cycling, and offer a fun and friendly environment for our youth and junior riders. Junior membership in the club entitles a young person to attend most club sessions and to ride in competitions for Stratford Cycling Club. Juniors may ride in senior club activities when a club coach advises that the activity is suitable for the young person, this is to protect the young person from a situation where they are found to be well and truly out of their depth. When a young person is ready to start riding with the senior section then this would be managed to each individual, to make the transition as safe, fun and beneficial as possible.
