Sunday Club Runs

Stratford Cycling Club

The mainstay of our organised weekly cycling events is the traditional Sunday morning club run. Some rides venture into the Cotswolds, and serve up the short sharp hills synonymous with this beautiful part of the UK. Flatter rides head into Worcestershire, the vale of Evesham and the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. All rides have a tea stop at roughly half distance. Leaders have extensive experience and local knowledge, ensuring that the quietest and safest roads lead to the best tea stops.

Sunday Club Runs depart at 9:00 from the Box Brownie coffee shop in Henley Street. Please assemble in groups at 8:55 to give ride leaders a chance to assess the numbers and composition of the group before departure. Rides will usually return to Stratford at around 13:00 give or take fifteen minutes.

Stratford CC offer three rides most Sundays for a range of abilities and fitness levels. The exact speed and distance can vary significantly depending on the terrain and rides will sometimes be a little longer in the summer and a little shorter in the winter reflecting the riding conditions. Sunday rides are no-drop. As such, the group will always stay together.
