Ordering and Delivery

When you place your order you can choose to either have your kit delivered directly to your door via UPS or FOC to the club. We will arrange a time and place for you to collect your kit. Delivery will be 6 to 8 weeks from the close of the order window whichever method you choose.

Understanding the Club Kit Range

We have worked to provide a range of kit to suit different disciplines and budgets. Below are a few explainers to help you understand the range and decide what kit best suits your needs.

The Core Collection

The core of the collection is the ELITE range which offers very good value for money. In addition most items are available in a PRO version which uses more expensive fabrics and generally a more aero race fit.

Shorts, Tights, Skinsuits and Pads

With shorts and tights you'll find a choice of two different pads from Elastic Interface. The Zoom pad is very similar to the one used in our previous shorts whilst the more expensive Endurance 3D has multiple layers offering greater comfort for long days in the saddle. 

There are three skinsuits in the shop. In addition to the core ELITE 23 there are two more expensive options, one with endurance pad and pockets and one specifically aimed at TT complete with back number pocket. The cutting edge Kalas Project Z6 skinsuits are also available and can be added to the shop on request if you have the budget! 

Socks

We have two types sock available. The aero socks are available from the shop in the usual way however the woven polymide socks are a bulk order so you will have to buy them directly from the club. To reserve a pair priced at £12.00 please email clubkit@stratfordcyclingclub.co.uk with your size and quantity. The available sizes are the same as those shown on the KALAS Z3 | High Socks page.

Warmers

There are custom arm warmers in the shop with white text on red. In the stock items section you will find find knee, leg and arm warmers in solid navy blue that matches the club kit.

FAQs

Has the design changed?
No. The kit design remains the same but with a few small changes required for the specific manufacturing requirements of Kalas.

How much does it cost?
The basic short sleeve jersey is £49.99 and the bib shorts are £64.99 however there are other options available at different price points for most pieces. For example we also offer shorts with a more expensive endurance pad and compression fabrics.

Will any other kit be available?
We will add a few more autumn/winter orientated jackets later in the year. The available custom range from Kalas is huge with over 400 items. We have selected a range that aims to offer choice whilst being easy to understrand however if there is a Kalas item your interested in that is not in the shop then get in touch as we may be able to add it.

How long does it take for kit to arrive.
The kit is made to order and delivery is 6-8 weeks from the day the order window closes.

Can I return kit?
No. Every item is made to order so it's really important that you know your correct size.

How do I make sure I get the right size?
The club will maintain sizing kit and will provide opportunities in the future to try on items. In addition the Sizing Guide works well. If you're still not sure and send your specific measurements to Kalas via email or chat they will help.

Is there crash replacement?
Yes. Kalas offer 50% crash replacement and a 2 year warranty on items.

About the Kalas Custom Range

Kalas are based in Tábor, Czechia and the garments are designed, printed and manufacture there at a single facility with fabrics and printing technology produced in Northern Italy by the same companies that supply familiar Italian names like Castelli and Santini. The Kalas custom range extends well beyond the items available from their online shop and includes race day kit and other items that can be added to the online shop.
